At the northwest corner of Connecticut is where you can find the town of Salisbury. Because the great Housatonic River passes through Salisbury, it created several ponds within the town which makes for a land full of water activities like fishing and swimming, or kayaking. Salisbury has direct access to the grand Appalachian Trail which blesses this town with some of the best walking trails.
