Country Charm

My gal friends wanted to get away for a Ski Weekend in New England. We found "A Meadow House" in Lakeville Ct, near 3 Ski Areas. We were more than delighted when we entered the B&B. It was much nicer that the photos show. It was like opening the door to our own Private Vacation Chalet! Very warm, comfortable and charming with inviting rooms, functioning fireplaces (one in my Bedroom), and fully furnished from kitchen to bath. We filled each of the 3 bedrooms, and were not crowded at all. The beautoful Antiques that fill the house are very impressive...especially in my Bedroom...the "Blue" Master Bedroom, that was recently re-decorated, and far nicer than the photos show! The first thing I did each night was run out in the snow and jump in the Hot Tub!....While my friends built a roaring fire in the backyard pit....we cooked "Smoores" and had a great Camp-Out right in the yard. In the morning, as the coffee brewed, I took a long walk in the Huge Meadow, right across the street, and walked around "Lime Rock Park" in the beautiful winter setting....Breathtaking and QUIET! We were on our own for Breakfast in which a Continental Breakfast was left out for us, plus we had full kitchen privledges 24/7. The 2 cats curled up with us, and we were truely "at home". The price is more than fair, the accomodations charming and clean, and the setting was perfect...a real Country, "New England" setting with great views out each window! We plan to make this an ANNUAL Gal's Ski Weekend!
