One of the most interesting villages in the state of Connecticut can be found beside Lake Wononskopomuc in the county of Litchfield and the village is called Lakeville. The reason why I mentioned that Lakeville is fascinating is because the village center which is roughly 40,000 square meters has been preserved and unchanged since the 19th century and it has been cataloged on the National Register of Historic Places. You can also visit Lime Rock Park located on Litchfield Hills and bring along anything to cover the ground while you watch the exciting races there.
