Side by side with New York along the border is the town of Kent in Litchfield County in the state of Connecticut. There are three schools in Kent which are The Marvelwood School, Kent, and South Kent plus you can also find the Schaghticoke Indian Reservation within the town's confines. Kent gets visitors all year round because of its many attractions including its nature parks the first one of which is the Kent Falls State Park which has been tagged as "The Jewel of the Inland Parks" because it boasts views of 17 unique waterfalls. The Macedonia Brook State Park, which opened in 1918, is famous for its many outdoor recreation opportunities including hiking its long trails. There's a beautiful hilltop lake, and the Macedonia Brook from where the park got its name. Be sure to ask any of the Kent bed and breakfast inns for directions on how to get there.
