Ledyard is a town which got its name from Colonel William Ledyard, a soldier who fought the British during the Revolution and was killed with his own saber. Ledyard is located in the county of London. One of the main attractions in Ledyard is the Foxwoods casino which is owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Native American Tribe.
