Circa 1904. This three-story stone Victorian home is located just three blocks from the historic Roosevelt Arch, the original gateway to Yellowstone Park. Seasonal activities for the adventure-minded include whitewater rafting, fishing, horseback riding, hiking and canoeing in the summer and snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter. The road from Gardiner to Cooke City travels through the northern range where antelope, bison, elk, deer, big-horn sheep and wolves are commonly seen. At the end of the day, relax in a rocking chair on the inn's spacious, covered veranda, or soak in the hot tub.
