My wife and I stayed at the yates house in the early fall. The town was small enough for a nice walk with a great dinner and antique hunting. It was very quite and romantic. The inn keepers where so nice and made us feel at home, rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the full breakfast was a piece of exquisite art. Very warm and comfortable place to stay, so much we really did not want to leave.

Vern HoffmanMy wife and I decided to celebrate our 25th anniversary by going for a 25 mile bike ride (1 for every year of marriage) and we picked Rocheport for the site of this celebratory ride because it has some historical significance and offers a nice scenic ride on the Katy trail. I do not think you will go wrong with any of the B&Bs in Rocheport but when Dixie offered to cook our anniversary dinner, that sealed the deal. The Yates house is hosted by Conrad and Dixie Yates and they are superb non-intrusive hosts who keep a clean and warm environment. Their garden offers peace and lures the birds and other wild life and is a peaceful retreat. The rooms are spacious and Dixie is a top notch chef. I hesitate to give this review because when I go to Rocheport I will not stay any place else. I hope you find it as enchanting as my wife and I did.
