Wye Not Getaway B&B on Wye Lake

"We've stayed in guest houses, B&B,etc. all over the U.S., Scotland and Great Britain. Yours is the Best!! We could not have been so comfortable and "at home" in any other place we've stayed here and/or abroad. The breakfasts were delicious and service outstanding_ No "microwave zapping" here,just good old homecooking and great attention to detail. If we make the trek from Texas to the Northwest again- we shall look forward to staying in the great "Wye Not Getaway"!!!!

We are so glad we found you in our online search for a place to stay! After a long hot day of golf, coming back to the peacefulness of the B&B was awesome. We enjoyed ourselves so much. Why would anyone rather stay at a hotel. We will spread the word about your getaway and surely come back to enjoy more tranquility. OH, and the breakfast, WOW, GREAT & FILLING, and that special Cinnamon Roll_ Awesome!!!

Staying in the Ol' fishin' hole room was perfection. The room,and your setting on Wye Lake was just right for us. My wife likes plush accommodations and I like to fish, we got both desires satisfied with style. For me, the boats in the water ready to go was a dream for early morning fishing, And my wife caught a fish!! Getting a picture of her holding the trout she caught was priceless! Finally, the in room breakfast service was grand! We will be back.

What a delight....... One night was not enough! Everything was perfect.... It doesn't get any better. Thanks for your perfectly timed hospitality. It was refreshing and we enjoyed it immensely. Breakfast? a high class of its own!

When I think of a Romantic Getaway, I want beauty in my environment: views of water, trees and mountains. I want to feel secluded…tucked away from everything, yet, in reality, not too far from the city. I like to feel pampered. Ambiance is important. Wye Not Getaway B & B meets every need and more. The Ole Fishing Hole room looks right on to scenic Wye Lake. With a kitchenette, small dining and living area, we do not have to ever leave once we get there, but if we want to dine out, a wide assortment of dining options and shopping are 15 – 20 minutes away. There is no better breakfast on the planet than the one specially prepared for you every morning. We love sitting upstairs in the main dining area to visit with the innkeeper. There are many special things…like, taking a tour on the lake from the detachable dock, powered by a small electric motor. There is a huge jetted tub in the bathroom. There are two cabins just off the patio leading down to the lake…one for massage, one for sauna. There are fire pits outside to roast marshmallows and relax by. It’s a nice walk around the lake, if you are ambitious. Most of all it is the quality of the people who own and run this gem of a B & B. They truly love welcoming you and making sure your every need is taken care of. I took my mother and sister there for a girls weekend away and we had a blast, but I knew I would be back with my husband because it IS a place for couples to unwind…and I just can’t wait…the reservations are already made.
