Although constructed in the mid-1990s, Woodrow House has the appearance of an old Southern estate home. Towering columns grace the front entrance, lending an elegant ambiance to the home. Each of the eight guest rooms is decorated with a different theme. One pays homage to the 1950s and Americana. Granny’s Attic is a spacious room decorated with items that belonged to innkeeper David Fleming’s grandmother, as well as an antique clawfoot tub. Guests also have the option of staying in the Santa Fe Caboose, a restored caboose that includes a sitting area, private bath and kitchenette. The innkeepers serve a hearty country breakfast with items such as biscuits and gravy and homemade cinnamon rolls. The home rests across from Texas Tech University. Legendary rock and roll star Buddy Holly was a Lubbock native, and his home and the Buddy Holly Center are just two miles from Woodrow House.

We have a honeymoon suite with a canopy bed and jacuzzi tub. Several other rooms have romantic decor.
The Victorian Room is decorated in the Victorian style with a solid cherry queen-size bedroom suite dated to the 1880's. The private bath boasts an antique claw foot tub.
Rate - $99-$119 weekdays/$119-$139 weekends per night single or double occupancy. Sleeps two persons.
The President's Room is dedicated to the men who have held our nation's highest office. The queen-size bedroom suite is solid mahogany. This room has a private entrance off the back porch and a double shower in the private bath.

The Alumni Room overlooks Texas Tech from the second floor. The oak and mahogany bedroom suite includes a custom built king-size bed. The private bath has an antique claw-foot tub with a shower.

The 50's Room has a private door to the balcony overlooking the large backyard. The 1950's decor brings back the memories that made the 50's so unique in American culture. The queen-size bed reminds us of Grandma's furniture. The private bathroom has an antique tub with a shower.

The Lone Star Room is located on the third floor. With a beautiful octagon window, king-size bed, and an antique tub in the private bath. The room is decorated to bring out the mystique of Texas, the Lone Star State. It also has a wonderful third-floor view of the Texas Tech campus. This room does have a TV, DVD player and VHS player.

The full-size Santa Fe Caboose is the newest addition to the Bed & Breakfast. For a completely unique experience stay in our restored Caboose. It is a must for kids and train buffs. There is a unique queen-size bed in the Caboose. There is also a private bath and shower. There is a TV, DVD player and VHS player in the Caboose.
