Garden King Room

Historic Inn Room
Experience the heritage presented in the historic rooms...indvidually designed, the rooms in the celebrated inn offer a distinct charm with beamed ceilings, built-in bookshelves and bench seating. Tucked among an ancient canopy of trees, the historic rooms offer private trellised verandas or balconies for enjoying quiet moments. Complete with Honeymoon suite with a gauzy canopy bed, the inn rooms offer a setting for whimsical romance and serenity.

Innkeeper Note
The history of Wine & Roses took root in this rich San Joaquin Valley soil nearly a century ago. It began with a sack of gold coins given to Burton Towne by his grandfather in 1901. With this small treasure, Burton Towne purchased our current five-acre site plus forty-six surrounding acres for agricultural endeavors. In 1984, the Burton Towne estate became available for purchase and Wine & Roses Country Inn was born. The original sale included our 8,000-square-foot Victorian home, which was built by the Townes in 1902 and nestled on two acres. In 1988 the remaining three acres of the original Towne Family Homestead became available. With the additional property purchased, the first meals were served and the first guests slept peacefully at Wine & Roses Country Inn. In the last couple of years, the expansion of Wine & Roses has created an environment that combines the heritage of our community with the vision of a growing empire. Please come and visit us, kick off your shoes and stay awhile! Our luxurious guest rooms and suites are ideal for the honeymoon couple or corporate traveler alike. Our goal is to offer an overnight environment that gives each guest a pleasurable experience of Lodi that will long be remembered. We look forward to seeing you soon!
