Circa 1917. The Windmill Inn is a place of memories. Many were created by the innkeeper's grandparents, who built the home. Others are the happy remembrances guests take home. The home is filled with antiques and family heirlooms. Stained glass and a window seat add to the charm. Evening meals or picnic lunches are also available. The wraparound porch offers a relaxing swing, and on starry nights, the outdoor spa is the place to be. Historic Abilene is just a few miles down the road, offering a glimpse of an authentic Old West town, located on the Chisolm Trail.
