Daughter's Wedding Breath-takingly Beautiful

My daughter's wedding was in early August and Windekind Farm was breath-takingly beautiful! Our guests from around the country were gushing with enthusiasm for this unique and lovely spot for our very special wedding. Entirely worth the trip in all regards. Comfortably close to Burlington for our guests' lodging; the families loved staying at the farm. A magical location, spectacular gardens, peaceful views... and the Smiths are a delight to work with. Perfect in all ways for one looking for a country wedding.

I Will Be Back

From the moment of our arrival we were made to feel at home...Our Welcome Kit had areas of interest with maps. We enjoyed supporting local businesses and found everything we needed at the nearby grocery, all within 10 minutes of the Studio we stayed in. Windekind Farm offers great conversation, beautiful scenery and awesome trails...and only 30 minutes from Burlington! If you get a chance, ask Mark, the Innkeeper, about his trains...they're beautiful and he gave us a ride! It was a simple way of living for a short time but a much needed vacation! I will be back...

Knowledge, Hospitality and Warmth

"There was, of course, the unbelievable Vermont backdrop, the unique architecture of the various buildings, and the perfectly manicured gardens, but what really sold Windekind Farm was the knowledge, hospitality, and warmth of Mark and Marijke Smith. After our first meeting with them, we left feeling not like customers, but like friends. As the wedding approached and we contended with some of Vermont’s most unpredictable weather, any worry we had was assuaged by Mark and Marijke’s years of knowledge and experience, and the great teamwork we all displayed." Generosity and Care

Hiking trails in abundance; the farm is remote but essentials can be met with only a short drive. We very much appreciate the beauty, hard work/dedication in keeping the farm in the wonderful condition it is in. … Your generosity and care are natural attributes, and are very much appreciated by Lisa and me." Proud that Children Married Here...

"The flowers, scenery, peace and incredibly happiness, it's almost too hard to take in all at once. I am very proud that my children choose this paradise to get married, because it reflects their values in life. Nature gives back what you put in, and this is so obvious in this place." Holland

Totality Keeps Us Returning

We have returned for 4 years. It is a combination of beautiful spot, comfortable surroundings, great skiing. We could not come if it was not for the skiing but the totality keeps us returning.
