Circa 1880. Close to the Mt. Vernon Cultural District, this historic Queen Anne Victorian home has been meticulously restored. The Period décor is accented with an emphasis on Japanese art and nautical items. Play the piano in one of the twin parlors or gather for wine and cheese daily. Read in the library or den with sunroom. There are five fireplaces in the common rooms and four sitting areas. Select from an assortment of elegant guest bedrooms and suites. A gourmet breakfast in the dining room may include the popular Peruvian Pancakes made with cornmeal and topped with fresh berries.

Clelia is a charming hostess who has attended to every detail. Rooms are lovely and the inn is filled with objects from around the world, in addition to all the Victorian furnishings. Comfortable beds and great breakfasts. Near the Art Institute, Hopkins, Bolton Hill etc. very central location.
