Circa 1805. Rescued from demolition and restored as a bed and breakfast, this historic 19th-century hotel on the banks of the Wicomico River boasts high Victorian style and a mansard roof. Sit on a rocker on the wraparound porch with gingerbread trim accenting the pillars. Distinctively furnished and tastefully decorated guest bedrooms offer a variety of amenities. Some boast a fireplace, clawfoot tub and river or marsh views. The Victorian Bedroom and Garden Bedroom also share access to the second-floor screened porch. Dorothy serves a gourmet breakfast in the formal dining room with elegance and grace. Handcrafted Eastern Shore items are available in the hotel's gift shop, Room With A View.
