A gentle breeze flows through the double french doors leading to your own private second floor porch. Queen size canopy bed and fireside sitting area and for even more unwinding a whirlpool tub for two. Private bath with shower, TV/DVD, air conditioning and ceiling fan.

The Studio

Studio, with a private entrance, Queen bed, private bath with whirlpool tub, TV/VCR, ceiling fan and central A/C. As decadent as a box of chocolates... this romantic red room makes everyday Valentine's Day! A whirlpool tub and cozy fireplace... drift into sleep and start your journey on the "orient express."

Room at the Top

A perfect tree-top hideaway with a Queen bed, fireplace, whirlpool tub for two, sliding glass doors to a private balcony with a view of the pond, cable TV/DVD, A/C, ceiling fan, private bath with shower.

Mary Chess

Soft tones accented with English cottage charm this room is popular with our guests who like a longer stay. Located on the second floor with access to a semi-private porch. There is a queen size mahogany sleigh bed, cozy fireplace with a comfortable sitting area, TV/VCR, air conditioning and a private bath with shower.

Gatsby's Getaway

Right out of an F.Scott Fitzgerald novel our Gatsby's Getaway transports you back to the Roaring 20's. Located on the third floor with winter views of the pond. A silver-gray, black-white pallet add to the Art Deco style. With both Queen and twin beds, (there is room for a third person) TV/DVD, ceiling fans, central air . Comfortable swivel chairs by the fireplace. The private bath has a double whirlpool tub, shower and even a mini fridge to chill your champagne. "Jay always requests this romantic room for Daisy."

Jessica's Garden

Located on the second floor and always a favorite. Light and airy, refreshing green and white tones with a queen size bed, cable TV/VCR, electric fireplace, private bath with shower, ceiling fan and air conditioning. Step out onto your semi-private porch, relax and finally read that novel.

Victorian Treasure Suite

Experience the romance… Where proposals are made and Honeymoons and Anniversaries celebrated! Decorated in gentle hues of champagne and gold. This two-room suite offers a queen size brass bed, cable TV/DVD & VCR, air conditioning, private porch, two fireplaces and private bath with whirlpool and shower. SPECIAL FEATURE (for this room only)... Breakfast delivered to your room option.

Bonnie Brae

This cozy,serene room is located on the third level. A queen bed draped in gentle shades of blue beckons that afternoon nap. Private bath with shower, ceiling fan, cable TV/DVD, electric fireplace and central air for your comfort.

Vermont Cabin

Innkeeper's favorite room, it's whimsical and fun and located on the third level. Queen size brass bed, private bath with shower, cable TV/VCR, ceiling fan, central air and a cozy electric fireplace. "It must be that romantic cabin feeling that keeps us returning to this room." recommended by Barbara & Doug

“Simply Perfect”

We were looking for a quiet getaway for a few days. We found it and more at the White Lilac Inn. The innkeeper, Mari, is a wonderful person with the ability to know just what you want. Her most pleasant manner and the attention to deatil from her and the staff made our stay most enjoyable. Her recommendations for dinning were superb. “Romantic escape”

My husband and I stayed in Jessica's Garden. Nice, cozy room tucked away in a historic home. Used the bicycles to see the area- definately the best way to get around. Close to the beaches, but far enough away from the noise (about 3 blocks). Nice quaint town, lots of things to see and visit close by.

InnSide Tip - Cycle, Lighthouses

Bicycling is very popular in the area. We were able to see 3 lighthouses during our trip, driving back south- and if we wanted, could have seen 2 more driving north toward NY.

Great getaway spot! Close to beach but tucked away from the hussle & bussle! Great Innkeeper she was very helpful with suggestions on how to enjoy our trip even further. We would DEFINITELY go back again!!!

“A great place to stay!”

My husband and I just stayed the weekend and had such a nice time we are going back in August. Everyone is so laid back and doesnt bother you except to feed you a delicious homemade breakfast. Room at the Top! With an outdoor patio overlooking the lake that is so fun to go back to after a long day at the beach. Mari and the staff are wonderful Patty & Billy Cannon HoHoKus NJ

“Husbands 50th Birthday”

“Our Favorite Getaway!”

The White Lilac is a yearly mini-getaway for my husband and me. We can relax, ride the bikes provided, go to the beach, walk around the area, and return to our clean, comfortable room. “Home away from Home.”

Home away from Home.Hi My name is Tricia and My Mom and I needed to have some mother daughter time together and we wanted to stay somewhere we could just relax. I thought well bed and breakfasts are for couples, but I was wrong. Yes couples, friends, Mothers and daughters can all relax at the white Lilac Inn. Mari who runs the White Lilac Inn was the greatest host. She made us feel at home from the start. We even had the pleasure of meeting her dog Buddy. I wanted to see him everyday because I missed my dog April, by the way Buddy gives high fives, go ahead ask him! Well anyway we just know that now when we want to get away again The White Lilac Inn is going to be our place to stay. Thanks again Marie. Tricia and Kathleen
