Description

Circa 1880. The White Lilac looks like a sweeping Southern home with wide wraparound private and semi-private porches decorating its three stories. The first story veranda is lined with wicker rockers and baskets of flowering plants hang from the ceiling, creating an ideal spot for relaxation. Inside, the Victorian decor contains period furnishings, antiques, double whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, air conditioning in every room and queen beds. Breakfast is served fireside on intimate tables for two in the Garaden Room and on the enclosed porch. The ocean is less than five blocks from the inn.

Simply Perfect

We were looking for a quiet getaway for a few days. We found it and more at the White Lilac Inn. The innkeeper, Mari, is a wonderful person with the ability to know just what you want. Her most pleasant manner and the attention to deatil from her and the staff made our stay most enjoyable. Her recommendations for dinning were superb. What more can we say, a beautiful Inn, a most gracious and knowledgeable Innkeeper, our stay was perfect! We will be back. Peter & Patricia - Ramsey NJ

Romantic escape

My husband and I stayed in Jessica's Garden. Nice, cozy room tucked away in a historic home. Used the bicycles to see the area- definately the best way to get around. Close to the beaches, but far enough away from the noise (about 3 blocks). Nice quaint town, lots of things to see and visit close by.

InnSide Tip - Cycle, Lighthouses
Bicycling is very popular in the area. We were able to see 3 lighthouses during our trip, driving back south- and if we wanted, could have seen 2 more driving north toward NY.

Husbands 50th Birthday

I took my husband away for his birthday and we had a great time. The place was lovely and the owner knew so much history about spring lake and her inn. The breakfast was delicious! The place is also decorated so nice.

Our Favorite Getaway!

The White Lilac is a yearly mini-getaway for my husband and me. We can relax, ride the bikes provided, go to the beach, walk around the area, and return to our clean, comfortable room. Mari is the best host. She will know what to suggest to accommodate your personal interests. She is friendly, knowledgeable and never intrusive. We can't wait to return! Mr. & Mrs. Glenn Hnath, NJ

Home away from Home.

Home away from Home.Hi My name is Tricia and My Mom and I needed to have some mother daughter time together and we wanted to stay somewhere we could just relax. I thought well bed and breakfasts are for couples, but I was wrong. Yes couples, friends, Mothers and daughters can all relax at the white Lilac Inn. Mari who runs the White Lilac Inn was the greatest host. She made us feel at home from the start. We even had the pleasure of meeting her dog Buddy. I wanted to see him everyday because I missed my dog April, by the way Buddy gives high fives, go ahead ask him! Well anyway we just know that now when we want to get away again The White Lilac Inn is going to be our place to stay. Thanks again Marie. Tricia and Kathleen
