On the spur of the moment we decided to get out of Memphis for the night and found the White House Inn Bed and Breakfast on the Internet. We called and talked to Marilyn who graciously said she would love to have us stay in their home that night, even though she had just returned from vacation and it was very short notice. We couldn't have asked for a better evening! We were treated like a King and Queen! The place is beautiful, the bed was comfy, the service was fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious! We are definitely coming back...

Read the morning paper in the library which also boasts a large collection of books. Sit by the gas fireplace in the great room or enjoy a chat on the porch or balcony. Complimentary beverages are available anytime and snacks are offered in the evening. The downstairs Rose Room is completely ADA handicapped accessible with a phone for the hearing impaired.
