The William Seward Inn

This two-story Greek Revival estate stands on a knoll overlooking Lake Erie. Secretary of State Seward was a Holland Land Company agent before becoming governor of New York. He later served as Lincoln's Secretary of State and is known for the Alaska Purchase. George Patterson bought Seward's home and also became governor of New York. Most of the mansion's furnishings are dated 1790 to 1870 from the Sheraton-Victorian period.

Brick House

This brick home was built as a homestead on a large property of farmland and vineyards. The next owner constructed the impressive Greek Revival addition in 1860. The home also served guests as a tea room and later as a family-style eatery. Today, surrounded by the aroma of grapes in the vineyards, guests will enjoy the elegance and charm of the past, which has been wonderfully preserved at Brick House B&B. Full family-style buffet breakfasts are served in the home's formal dining room. Wintertime guests enjoy their morning meal in front of a warm fire. Each of the rooms offers something special. The Heritage Room includes a four-poster bed and high ceilings while the Maple View boasts Gothic crystal windows that look out to the 180+ year old maple trees. The Garden Room is another good choice and features an antique high-post canopy bed. Each evening guests are welcomed with homemade refreshments which change with the seasons.
