Complete Delight

Sometimes great things in life can randomly happen by chance. A point of reference on a Google map brought us here and our visit has been a complete delight! Thanks so much for the fabulous breakfasts, your warm hospitality and friendship.

Home away from Home

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in early March. Weather not the greatest for skiing, but Peter was there with a printed out weather report for us every day and some great suggestions for where to go under certain conditions. Bed very comfy. Bathrooms great - we went with the jacuzzi after all that skiing. Breakfasts were great and we enjoyed sampling the local beer and having some wine at our leisure in their cozy living room area. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a family wedding in the area and took over the West Hill House for an entire weekend! Peter and Susan were fabulous, as was the food!! I definitely recommend staying here.

I love this place!

Our stay with Peter and Susan was the perfect quiet, romantic getaway. The inn is beautiful without being stuffy, and both the innkeepers (and their cats)were super friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The incredible selection of movies, and the well stocked bar mean it doesn't even matter if the weather's not great, but when it is, the location means you just have to walk out the door to enjoy the mountains.

Best Stay at Sugarbush Vermont!

This was our third visit at West Hill House. We really enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the house. We have discovered the steam shower in the bathroom. It's is the best way to relax those tired muscles after a hard day of skiing and snow boarding. The location is perfect to get to the mountain. We look forward to our stay again.

Winter Wedding

Wedding at West Hill House My husband and I searched for months all over New England for a B&B to get married at. We are both from Alabama and didn't want t big wedding so we decided to "elope" somewhere. When we found West Hill House it just clicked instantly! Peter and Susan did everything they could to make our day as special as possible. The house is just beautiful, and the food was amazing! They helped find things for us to do, from waterfall tours, to touring th Ben and Jerry's icecream factory. We were thousands of miles away and still felt like we were home.

Wonderful B&B

We stayed at West Hill twice in 2009 during the winter. We loved the B&B and rate it one of the best that we have stayed in yet. Peter and Susan are wonderful and attend to all the details. Their place is lovely. We will go again.

birthday ski weekend

Stayed at the West Hill House for a skiing weekend in the Mad River Valley with my girlfriend. Absolutely delightful stay with great hosts and friendly guests, just up the road from Sugarbush and a quick drive to Mad River Glen for some great skiing in January. I did a lot of research before choosing, and I will definitely go back!

Best Romantic Weekend Ever!

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend here at the end of March. Peter and Susan were amazing hosts. They made sure that we had everything we needed as well as suggest activities and places to visit that we would have never thought of. The breakfasts were so good and I wish I could eat that well every weekend! The room we stayed in was very cozy and romantic feeling. We really enjoyed the big bath tub and the very comfy, large bed. Even before we left my boyfriend and I were making plans to return. We can't wait to go back!

West Hill House

We stayed here for three nights on a two week trip to New England. We stayed in several B&B Inns and smart hotels this was the best. A lovely room and beautiful house with kind and helpful hosts

Best B&B in Vermont!

We sprung for the Paris room and could not have been more pleased. The two person Jacuzzi tub was truly decadent. Peter and Susan were delightful, breakfast was delicious, and the property was beautiful. We will be staying here again!
