         <title>The Swag Country Inn</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/north_carolina/swag.htm</link>
<description>The Swag is composed of six hand-hewn log buildings, one dating to 1795. They were moved to the site and restored. An old church was reassembled and became the cathedral-ceilinged common room. The fireplace in this room was constructed of fieldstones with no mortar to maintain authenticity. The inn's 250 acres feature a nature trail with five hideaways along the trail, a spring-fed pond, hammocks and thick forests. A two-and-a-half-mile gravel road winds through a heavily wooded hillside to the inn. In the evening, dinner is served on pewter ware at long walnut tables. Listening to folk music and mountain storytelling afterwards is popular. A full list of special events is available each month.
