Wakefield Country Inn & Vineyards

Thank you so much for the "adult get-away" we so desperately needed. We were so glad we had the inn completely to ourselves so we got all the pampering. LOL. It's a perfect retreat for anyone who needs time to slow down. Can't wait to come back and use the pool!

We came to relax and get away and you provided a relaxing get away. We appreciated the stories you shared and the comfortable bed! The food was very good and we had to loosen our belts a few times. We love, love, love the wine!! You have lifetime customers! Thank you both for a nice few days. Oh and the cookies! (nuff said)

If you're looking for a place to surprise your spouse, for any occasion, then this is the place! The service was top notch. Pam, the co-owner of the business bent over-backwards to meet our every need; which is rare for some bed and breakfast logdes (I would give a six star rating if I could). The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfy; however, my wife and I wish the bed size was just a bit larger. The food was absolutely delicious so if you go hungry it is completely your fault. The location was wonderfully located in the middle of a wildlife refuge, but was tad bit far from town (for some people this may not be a big deal). Last, but certainly not least, the wine tasting was an informative experience for my wife and I. Every wine we tasted was uniquely delicious. If you're a Wino then this is the place for you. Our overall lodging experience put this place on our top 3 Bed & Breakfast List.

Lauren and I have not stayed at many B&B's in our grand tour, but of those we've chosen so far, yours is #1. Warm, welcoming...everything we wantour "getaways" to be. The scenery...the food...the hospitality. It's been like visiting friends. Thank you for a great weekend. We will defintely be back!

Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality. This was not only our 10th anniversary but a time of recovery from a really tough couple of weeks at home. With my step-dad passing away this past week after two long weeks of suffering we really needed a good recoup. You gave us that. Thanks for your kindness and sharing your home and allowing us to regroup as a couple.

Well, I'm really mad that the sunshine we ordered with our reservation did not come provided - so that all we had to do all weekend was eat warwm cookies snuggled up on the couch. I mean, what's the fun in that? So next time we are here, we expect you to come through with that sunshine. We had a great time here. The food was wonderful. I think we each gained 10 pounds. Next time we will bring some grenades so Jyl can have a chance to catch as many fish as I did. Thanks again.

What a wonderful weekend it has been! Once I got over my fear of my boyfriend dropping me off in the middle of nowhere and leaving me...no more scary movies for me..this has been amazing! Your home has been so comfortable and inviting. Your wines should be in a showcase in every wine and spirit store in OK! We love them! Thank you so much for your hospitality. Food was terrific too. Massage was so relaxing! We are so relaxed we hope we can stay awake for our drive home. As the time draws near for my deployment to Afghanistan this was a perfect way to have some quality time with my best friend/husband. The food was wonderful, the activities/company was exceptional. Additionally, learning some new things along the way. I wish you both all the best today and tomorrow.

Today was a day of "firsts" for Andy & I. First time in a B&B, first day on our journey back to Texas, first baby my sister gets to call her grandbaby. We came with hearts that were dry but left rejuvenated and renewed. We feel it a privilege to know you as friends now and hope to see you more in the coming months/years. We l ove your operation but, much more, your determination to fight against all adversity. Never give up! Wishing you a Texas-sized blessing.
