Not that we have been to Africa, but this atmosphere felt like a "mini" trip to Africa. We were in Tent #2-The Big Cat House. This tent was the closest and best view to the elephant barns and the overall grounds (you can see them bathing the elephants both mornings). The tent was anything but...comfy heated king bed, fridge/coffee maker, TV/DVD player, full hot shower (just make it short), and more. 4pm animal visits were very entertaining and educational, but nothing beats being brough breakfast in the morning by an elephant. Wait, there is...getting to feed the elephant breakfast as it visits. First morning was Malika (she is the runt of the crew, but very affectionate). Second morning was the "big guy" Butch. Over 10 feet tall, and pics with him in the morning were just out of this world.
