Romantic, Blissful Getaway

For my 23rd birthday, my boyfriend surprised me with a weekend getaway at Vintage Gardens Bed and Breakfast. Everything about our stay was very romantic. The services provided by Kimberlee & Michael exceeded all expectations. We stayed in the exquisite Asian suite which was complete with bathrobes, homemade toiletries and an oversized claw foot bathtub. In the evening, we were delighted to find fresh homemade cookies on our night stand! Kimberlee and Michael played their part in many surprises that my boyfriend planned throughout the weekend, including surprising me with a birthday cake as I entered the Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast was outstanding and we enjoyed a walk around the beautiful gardens before we left. Anyone who is looking to be pampered by a Bed and Breakfast which goes above and beyond the rest, should definitely book a night at Vintage Gardens! You will not be disappointed!

Romantic Getaway

What an incredible find! We will be returning many times! My husband booked two nights mid-week as a surprise. I was surprised by the gesture but also by the attentive care and delicious breakfasts in the middle of the week. This is my new favorite B&B! I can't wait for our next romantic trip to Vintage Gardens!

The most beautiful retreat

I have taken my wife to Vintage Grdens many times now and every time we go is better than the last. No matter the season, it is sure to be a beautiful setting. The gardens, woods, and historic aspects of the bed and breakfast are second to none. The only thing nicer than the freshly pressed linnens, cookies before bed, and well stocked library are Kimberlee and Michael the proprietors. If you are ever in upstate new york, Vintage Gardens is the place for you to go and be able to escape day to day life for a relaxing weekend trip or entire week's vacation.

Romantic

When out of town family called to say they were coming for a visit and would need accommodations, our only choice in the area was Vintage Gardens B&B. The inn was everything as expected and more for our company. Besides the beauty of the historic home, they enjoyed some amazing breakfasts by Kimberlee, our relatives also enjoyed strolls through the beautiful gardens with the stunning fountain and even a visit with the deer on one of the trails. Dwayne and Ann want to thank you Michael and Kimberlee from the bottom of their hearts for such wonderful hospitality. David & Diana Harder

Uncomfortable.....

I have never felt so uncomfortable, unwanted, and out of place in my life. The accommendations were lovely, but our initial meeting with Kimberly soured my entire trip. A quote from out "gracious" host I will never forget is, "Hurry up with the iron, I'm behind on cleaning". Newark doesn't offer many quality accommendations so the next time I visit the area, I will commute from Geneva, Victor, or even Rochester before I consider staying in the Vintage Gardens.....Nor will I recommend the Vintage Gardens to any of my fellow friends, colleagues, and definitely not family.

Romantic is as Romantic Does

Kimberlee and Michael are superb innkeepers: from the moment that we entered our room, looked out the window overlooking over two and a half acres of splendid gardens, and smelled the freshly baked chocolate cookies on our nightstand, we were smitten. the trip was to celebrate our anniversary so Kimberlee had a platter of cheeses, fruits (including chocolate dipped strawberries) and crackers waiting in our room's fridge. she also recommended to my husband a lovely red wine for us to have with our goodies and the place to purchase it, as well. the breakfasts that they served were amazing: tasty, fresh and pretty too! it was not our first stay at Vintage Gardens and it will not be our last. they know how to take care of their guests right down to the smallest detail. thank you, Kimberlee and Michael.

More Romantic than Roses

We recently stayed at Vintage Gardens. It is just what the name inplys. First we explored the beautiful historic house gardens and then took a walk along the Erie Canal It was so romantic to spend time together. We were served lemonade in the gardens and had a picnic dinner we had broght with us right there amoung the flowers. And in the morning two fawns were at the window looking in while we ate our breakfast. The rooms are wonderful and beautifully decorated. It was as 20th anniversary and we only live an hour away, but we felt as though we were in a different world filled with wonderful flowers, smells and fresh baked warm cookies at night! We stayed in the Asian room and it had the biggest clawfoot bath tub that we had ever seen and fits two perfectly. We also enjoyed the wonderful Vintage Tub Suds designed by our hosts Michael and Kimberlee. They have the most wonderful bath and body products I have ever recieved at a lodging facility. We were very pampered and my husband suprised me with a bouquet of flowers (I know Kimberlee had something to do with making sure it was prefect) The breakfast was fab and we even had homemade orange/cranberry sausage made by our hosts. Our Anniversary was perfect and I will recommend Vintage Gardens to our friends and Family.

Sumptuous rooms, strolling through spectacular gardens, moonlit quiet evenings and gourmet breakfasts made our second honeymoon truly memorable. Wonderful and Inviting

Please allow me to add my thanks and admiration to Kimberlee and Mike Meeks for their wonderful and inviting accommodations at Vintage Gardens Bed and Breakfast. I had the good fortune to work with the Meeks' to lodge visiting members of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The guests from the NTHP were extremely happy with our selection for their housing and most complimentary regarding their hosts. Friendliness and attention to detail is what separates Vintage Gardens apart from others. The guest rooms are lovely and amazingly comfortable while breakfast was as scrumptious as it was beautifully presented. First class all the way...Vintage Gardens will not disappoint! Warm place to stay in December

My wife and I were in Newark for a job interview in December. We stayed at the Vintage Gardens B&B for two nights and loved it there. They were very gracious hosts, even though we were the only people in the house. They had fires going for us in the fireplace, made cookies, and were very flexible with when breakfast was served. In fact, when we left on Monday morning Kimberlee packed up some food for us to take on the road. It is an excellent place to stay and we recomend it.

Thank you Kimberlee and Michael!

Eloping at the Vintage Gardens was a dream come true! The home, the beauty products and the food (lovingly prepared by Kimberlee) were outstanding! We were married on the b&b grounds and we stayed in the Asian Lily suite. The innkeeper's attention to detail and thoughtful gestures made my husband and I feel truly special and welcome. I can't thank Michael and Kimberlee enough for making our visit so memorable. A fine hotel is no match for this inn.

Unforgettable Getaway

This charming bed and breakfast is a conveniently short drive (15 minutes) from Palmyra, New York--which was the focus of our visit while staying at this cozy inn. We were treated like royalty. The place is beautiful, especially the gardens and our hosts were delightful. If you want a lovely place to stay while visiting the Palmyra temple and the Sacred Grove, this is it!

WOW

By far the best B&B that I have ever been to. The grounds, as well as the house it's self are amazing. The hosts (kimberlee and Michael Meeks) were by far the most accomodating of any B&B my wife and I have ever been to. We look forward to returning at various times throughout the years to see what this elegant property with it's expansive gardens have to show. From the bottom of both of our hearts we would like to thank Vintage Gardens for what we recieved.

This is a must stay!

I stayed here earlier this year and had a wonderful time. The B & B is stylishly furnished, with every attention paid to detail. Kimberlee is a gourmet cook, so all the food was incredible. The gardens and woods behind the place are so beautiful, filled with an abundance of flowers and birds. It's so beautiful and peaceful. We plan to return next spring.

DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS PLACE!!!

Vintage Gardens B&B is by far the most amazing bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in, and it will be hard to fine a place that matches the quality and care that Kimberlee and Michael so generously offer. We are a young couple from the city and often find ourselves in stuffy, awkward b&b's, but this place was nothing like that! The property is very beautiful and diverse. There are manicured gardens, a pond, and a forest. The house itself is like a life-size antique doll house, with all original fixtures. Although the setting takes you back to 1875, the accommodations provide the comfort of the most luxurious and expensive modern hotels. The creative breakfasts are gourmet and delicious and will leave you satisfied for the whole day. And the home-made cookies in the evening are just another sweet detail that Kimberlee and Michael extend. They truly go the extra mile to make your stay perfect and personal to their guests' needs which is why my new husband and I are now regulars for life.

Posh B&B in Newark, NY

After showing us our white-glove clean suite (complete with private bath, TV, DVD player [DVDs are downstairs], and robes for us) Kimberlee served us oatmeal/cranberry/candied ginger cookies and iced tea on the lawn. We wandered down their trail to Military Creek and strolled through the gardens. A plate of cookies was present when we returned from dinner. Breakfast of pumpkin bread French toast, chcken blueberry sausage, and apple mush was delicious. The B&B is quite new so the gardens still need quite a bit of work. And when we were there in early September the bees were out in force outside. We received an excellent value for the price and were delighted with our visit.

Great July Visit

Vintage Gardens Bed and Breakfast captures the warmth and charm of a by gone era- from its magnificant mansion to its formal gardens to the warm hospitality of its hosts Kimberlee and Michael and accomodations that are unequaled. A venue to truly relax, stroll around and really stop and "smell the roses." I look forward to my return visit. Thank you Kimberlee. Abbie Goman- Massachusetts

We had a wonderful winter weekend get-a-way here. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Michael was a very gracious host, who shared the history of the property and the area. We enjoyed the cookies in the evening, and the breakfasts were amazing. The roaring fires welcomed us home each evening. We stayed at Vintage Gardens recently. What a beautiful and romantic atmosphere! The room was just beautiful, comfortable and quaint. I loved the amenities provided-the lotion, soaps and shampoo were luxurious. The rose garden and surrounding gardens are gorgeous-perfect for an afternoon stroll with your sweetheart. Breakfast was amazing-delicious! The owners really made us feel like family. Would definitely recommend Vintage Gardens and will definitely stay there again!

Historical Romance

Although we have never stayed there ourselves, we have had our out of state relatives stay there when they came to visit. To say that they were impressed by the local historical preservation would be an understatement. The room was exceptionally decorated with the romantic whimsey of days long ago. My family really enjoyed the view from their window as the early morning light started to peek through the trees onto the beautiful flower gardens below. The pond with the fountain with the ducks were particularly enjoyable. The mouthwatering aroma of a wonderful gourmet breakfast being prepared by Kimberlee in the kitchen, was a delightful experience. I believe that Kimberlee and Michael made a lasting impression on my family, a great experience that they will always fondly remembered. My family plans on making a return trip to Newark,NY and have already said that they want to return to The Vintage Gardens.

I have traveled many different places and I have been told from time to time that I am a bit anal retentive. That being said.....I can honestly say that his B and B is second to none with the attention to detail and romantic vibe that is experienced when visiting this jewel of a place. I would recommend the Vintage Gardens with true enthusiasm.

I grew up in Newark, New York and when I was a little girl I always wished I could see what this beautiful home looked like inside. Well, later in life I got the chance! My husband and I now live in California, but I still have family in Newark. When I discovered this home had been turned into a bed and breakfast I was thrilled. I immediately made reservations for our next trip. This Inn has struck a chord in my heart. It is absolutely beautiful, warm, cozy, romantic and a place I feel completely at peace. Kimberlee and Michael Meeks are so very gracious and accommodating; the perfect "innkeepers"! The food is amazing! Not only delicious, but healthy as well. And, they keep a record of your likes and dislikes. It doesn't get any better than that! The grounds are so well kept and the roses are astonishing. It doesn't matter what time of year you visit, it is a place you will never forget and will want to return to again and again.
