Romantic Interest
All of our suites provide the ultimate in privacy, each with their own sitting rooms, some with private deck, and the cottage boasting an over-sized Jacuzzi. Our Romantic Spa Getaway Package is particularly popular with couples celebrating engagements, honeymoons, and anniversaries.
Historic Interest
The inn was built in 1869 as a private summer cottage for John and Charlotte McIlvaine of Philadelphia. The architecture of the Inn was changed mid-construction from Queen Anne Victorian style to Colonial Revival Shingle style. Many of the original features of the Inn remain intact such as transitional electric fixtures which were originally lit by gas. The chimney staircase is a unique feature of the house.
