Romantic Interest

Classic, old-fashioned resort feel with private rooms featuring fireplaces and whirlpool tubs.

Historic Interest

Built in 1925 by Abe and Ana Glassman, Glassman's was a full-service resort that served guests all meals in the dining room. Two of the original chandeliers from the dining room are still in use today. Steamships brought passengers from Chicago and Milwaukee for summer vacations in South Haven. The Inn's exterior appearance and the three acres still appear the same as when the Glassman's started in 1925. Now, however, the rooms have been updated with modern luxuries like whirlpool tubs and fireplaces.

Loved it. Husband & I stayed there in Dec ’09 for our honeymoon. Stayed in 1 of the cottages with a fireplace (don’t expect to come out smelling like anything other than smoke though). Great breakfast, especially that homemade bread! And by staying 2 nights, we got a free gift certificate for dinner (I recommend Clementine’s – loved it!)
