Valentine’s Recipe – Picture-Perfect Heart-Shaped Pears in Creme Brulee

Oregon Inn Creates Heart-Shaped Valentine’s Recipe

Leave it to a bed and breakfast inn to come up with a dazzling recipe for the romantic month of February. There are a few steps but they are fun – such as letting the blackberries make the outside of the pears red. Serve for breakfast, a valentine tea for your best girlfriends or for a dinner dessert.

See iLoveInns.com online bed and breakfast cookbook for more innkeeper recipes – most are served year long at least once a week, so they have been fully tested and approved by guests. For the heart-shaped pears above, you can practice ahead of time or take a trip to Grants Pass, Oregon and let the innkeeper of Flery Manor make it for you. (Valentine’s Day this year is on a Friday so it’s a perfect time and excuse for a winter weekend getaway at a romantic inn.)
