Circa 1853. Surrounded by a wooded setting on 50 rolling acres, this Gold Rush home is a traditional bed and breakfast with a nostalgic atmosphere and views of the Sierra Foothills. Gather in the Great Room, on the upper terrace, wraparound porch or in one of the pavilions. Reminiscent of mining traditions, each guest bedroom is named for a gemstone. The Jade Room overlooks the rose garden, is wheelchair accessible and features a Jacuzzi and open marble shower. Some rooms boast a fireplace, and for spacious privacy, stay in one of the cottages. Enjoy breakfast on one of the patio dining areas. Swim in the pool and stroll by the ponds. A rustic, natural state chapel is popular for weddings.
