Circa 1930. A white picket fence surrounds the Trade Carriage House, originally built in Stockton and later moved to Murphys. There are two bedrooms, both furnished with antiques and wicker pieces. A sunroom overlooks a private deck. Three doors down is a second vacation home, Tree Top House, that boasts a deck overlooking the treetops. This home has two bedrooms and two baths, a pine vaulted ceiling and, like the Trade Carriage House, is within two blocks of historical Main Street, with shops, restaurants and local wineries. Nearby are the gold rush towns of Columbia and Sonora. The Loft on Main is a third vacation house located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Murphys. Murphys is located between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite.
