Description

Said to be Maryland's first tourist hotel, this inn, located on 10 acres, is much as it was back in the '20s with the same metal beds and faux-wood metal dressers. The hotel is surrounded by thousands...

Don't do it

Booked this through Bike The Gap, a lady picked us up after a long day on the C& O. We asked if they had beer and wine for later on the porch and were told "yes we do but , I can't sell you any, I don't know how much to charge". She did take us by a convenience store to buy our own, however once we arrived the beer fridge was full so I was allowed to put the beer in the kitchen fridge, I placed it next to the half pitcher of ice tea. Later when we asked for a glass of ice tea we were told no...I got myself some anyway and was told I was breaking the law...The owner "Dave" is non existent. For much less money you can furnish your own drinks and snacks at a motel and not go to bed pissed off. Thanks a lot Town Hill & Bike the Gap

peaceful

Feel like always been here. Feel like family. Didn't want to leave. Reminds one of my grandmother's -- peaceful -- never slept so well.

Awesome

Dave and Donna Reusing, Innkeepers are the most wonderful people I have ever known. Thanks to them, the bed & breakfast feels just like home. The very best place to stay and feel completely comfortable, as well as a family feeling. This is the first B & B my husband and I have ever stayed in and we just love it. We have stayed there many times and considerate our second home now.

Disappointed

Good food. Great location. Dave, the owner is a difficult person making what could have been at great time just plain irritating

Quiet timed

Dave and Donna were the best. The food was great. I felt very comfortable there. It's where I fell in love with Tomatoe Pie. Great time.

Great Retreat Location

I was there on a ladies church retreat. The location is unbeatable for a unobscured mountaintop view. It is peaceful with no traffic noise at night and very little during the day. It was so peaceful to wake up to birds chirping. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Each room has been decorated with care and each is unique. The food was plentiful and delicious. The Innkeepers could not have been more accomodating. I look forward to many more stays at this inn.
