Amazing Inn

My friend absolutely loved this inn and keeps talking about it all the time. It's been more than a year since she went but I can't wait to get an opportunity to visit and experience it for myself!

Couldn't be better

Imagine a home where every room is a small gallery of oils, watercolors, and chalks by a world class Russian artist and where the host, a retired superb horn player, prepares outrageously good morning meals. Imagine this in a fabulous moutain setting, serenely quiet, and yet 40 minutes from LAX. The Enchantment Resort in Sedona and Los Caballeros in Wickenberg Arizona come closest to Topanga in atmosphere, but they cost $500 more per night without the art exhibit. An added bonus is the fact that I would be pleased to entertain any and all of the other inn guests at my own home. A delightful group of 20-70 year olds.

Peace, Love and Location

A great place, central yet peaceful. Me and my son stayed for eight days in july and found it to be ideal for exploring th LA area. Good quality rooms, great hosts and interresting guests around the breakfast table made it a memorable stay.

Gorgeous, Peaceful, Cozy

This B and B has breathtaking vistas and ample hiking opportunities in the scenic canyon. Wild flowers and bird song surround you. The proprieters are kind, hospitable, and inviting. The themed rooms are a unique touch, and the wide-open common areas are perfect for sipping wine before heading in to town for dinner. We loved it and hope to return soon.

Beautiful, interesting & relaxing

I stayed at this small but very pretty inn for four nights....and had a great time. The owners, a married couple, are very interesting and most hospitable. She is a very talented artist; her husband a retired musician. Her artwork is displayed throughout the villa. They prepare a terrific breakfast each morning...and their imaginations and expertise in the kitchen is evident to all who have the good fortune to sample their cuisine. I enjoyed their interesting viewpoints on many different topics and our numerous discussions over delicious breakfasts throughout my stay.

InnSide Tip - 1st time: Arrive in the daytime
For the first time especially...time your arrival during the daylight hours. This is because the scenery is just beautiful...but also because the area is somewhat in a natural state and the driving is easier when you can see well. Parking wasn't a problem in the large driveway in front of the inn.

Best Trip in Years

The innkeepers were very welcoming and extremely nice. The walls are tastefully adorned with beautiful paintings painted by the innkeeper herself. Quite, Tranquil, Relaxing. Wonderful hot breakfast. I had the best time and so did my mother who was also a guest in this awesome B&B. Excellent Service, & a Beautiful Property.

A World Away from LA - but not!

Wonderful stay here about a week ago. My fiancé and I had a lot of things to do in the LA area but wanted to try something completely different as we used to live in Santa Monica. This would have been a great place to escape the every day, even while living in the area. It is quiet and bright with many beautiful spots to sit throughout the property as we had access to both the pink and white house. Breakfast both mornings was wonderful! Home cooked meal really makes you feel at home and great conversation with Warren and other guests. We will definitely be back in the future!
