Description

Circa 1790. Escape to this delightful hillside B&B that sits on one acre in the shadow of Mt. Battie overlooking Penobscot Bay in the historic district of Camden, Maine. Relax by the fire amid Early American décor and furnishings in the parlor or library with views of the water. Beverages, home-baked treats and a well-stocked pantry with latte and cappuccino are just part of the ample hospitality shown at Timbercliffe Cottage Bed and Breakfast. Built in 1790 and recently renovated, guest bedrooms feature the best of old and new. Some rooms boast a fireplace, four-poster bed and a clawfoot tub. A bountiful breakfast is served at the trestle table in the large dining room, on the patio or on the wraparound porch. Special dietary options are available with advance notice.
