Circa 1780. Located in Southern Vermont, nestled next to Jamaica State Park with views of the nearby Green Mountains, the 1780s main building features its own pub and award-winning restaurant. Each of the 17 rooms are elegantly and comfortably decorated in keeping with the historic buildings. Gourmet three-course breakfasts are served in one of two charming dining rooms. Guests can relax by the pool, or explore the region dotted with antique shops, art galleries, museums, historic sights, crafts shows, flea markets and shopping. Cheese, wine and syrup tasting, or skiing, hiking, fishing, swimming and kayaking are available nearby. Hospitable hosts, Jen and Ed, delight in meeting guests, sharing information about the area’s activities, people and history.
