Description

Circa 1769. One way to enjoy the history of Philadelphia is to treat yourself to a stay at this Colonial-period, Georgian-style residence in Independence National Historical Park. White shutters and cornices accentuate the brick exterior, often draped in red, white and blue bunting. A finely executed interior renovation provides a handsome background for the inn's collection of Chippendale reproductions, four-poster beds and drop front desks. Working fireplaces, phones, hair dryers, television and whirlpool tubs provide additional comforts.

Multi-Visits

Over a 25 yr period I have visited TBHouse multiple times on business and vactions. Never disappointed. Love the Muffins, Fire Place in the evenings with a glass of wine. My wife even bought the china for our casual dinning in our home.... and their wine. Enjoy the City Tavern across the street or Bookbinders SeaFood around the corner. You will never be disappointed and will use this as your base of reference of B&B's in the future. ENJOY Stan and Harriette

A Walk through time

We hosted several guests at the Thomas Bond House for a weekend wedding. It was truly like no other Philadelphia experience. It is so elegant and beautiful.
