My husband and I had the most wonderful time staying at The Wren's Nest for my birthday celebration! He worked with Irene (proprietor) ahead of time to have flowers and a cake all ready for me when we got there: she provided china, cutlery, cloth napkins and even extra candles for us! Her breakfast the next morning was absolutely fantastic and she gifted me a basket full of fresh eggs from her own hens. The Wren's Nest is a lovely, quaint and delicious hidden gem in the Metro Detroit area: I highly recommend that anyone looking for a unique experience book a night or two! Another special aspect of this place is that Irene gives wonderful teas with scrumptious food and fresh-baked goods: more details are on her website!
