Elegant and Romantic & Secluded

The Willows Historic Palm Springs Inn

This has to be the best of Palm Springs! The Willows reminds me of the Awanhee Hotel in Yosemite - elegant and romantic and integrated into a beautiful natural setting, this time next to a rocky hillside with a waterfall coming down into the breakfast patio area. Flowers and bougainvillea, blue skies, breezes and palm trees, roadrunners and butterflies provide the very best of the oasis that Palm Springs is. We stayed for two days and noted many returning guests who seem to come again and again. A third day would have found me trying a bi-plane ride! A few steps away from the inn is an excellent French restaurant, an art museum and theater and within a two block walk the boutique restaurants and shops. Everything is at your fingertips but you are nestled against the rocky slope. The waterfall, scent of orange blossoms and a myriad of blooms can be experience throughout the inn where the patio doors are most often open to the outdoors. Lovely stay, great staff - Gordy and Harmony take very good care of their guests. I have been to many wonderful inns but I truly feel at home here.
