The acre-and-a-half grounds are tropical, highlighted by soaring palm trees. The interior boasts many original elements, as well as stenciled ceilings and artwork. Rooms, with names such as the Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus, honor the state's history of Spanish exploration. Within an hour of Daytona Beach, guests can reach Orlando, St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral or stay and explore Daytona, which offers plenty of shopping and restaurants, as well as the ocean.
