Great place

I can not say enough about this place, the room was amazing, the food was great and Tony and Maureen where wonderful hosts. I flew in for Valentine's day weekend from Washington to be with my fiance and proposed to her in our room at The Tower Cottage, we both plan on coming back to spend our 3 year anniversary here.

Delightful

My husband and I recently spent and overnight at The Tower Cottage in Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ. What a delightful experience! The 150 year old inn has been beautifully restored by innkeepers Maureen and Tony who were so hospitable and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this gem if you're planning a vacation at the Jersey Shore.

Wonderful

We just completed our stay celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and could not have had a better setting. Our experience at The Tower Cottage epitomizes the appeal of traditional B&B's. The home was recently renovated and the design and craftsmanship were outstanding. The accommodations were cozy, well appointed and with all the modern conveniences- personal temperature controls, in-room refrigerator, jacuzzi, full-body shower jets, etc. The furniture, mouldings, color schemes and architectural details were well coordinated and crisp. The breakfasts were incredible- comparable to a 5-star restaurant. The hosts were warm, attentive and focused on making our stay as wonderful as possible. The list of "special touches" were endless but included free beach passes, towels, chairs and umbrellas, fresh tea and coffee througout the day, afternoon iced tea, Godiva chocolate treats, early evening fruit and cheese platters, concierge services (e.g. maps, restaurant recommendations and reservations) and evening desserts. The location is ideal- minutes off the Garden State Parkway and a 2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk. It was obvious the hosts, Tony and Maureen, are proud of their restorations they undertook and do everything to ensure your stay is one to remember. Our 25th Anniversary will forever be memorable- thanks in large part to our experience at The Tower Cottage. We highly recommend it and we look forward already to our next stay.

Truly a wonderful experience. The InnKeepers are warm, wonderful people who go out of their way to make you feel right at home. Gorgeous Bed and Breakfast, including great amenities. We were spoiled our entire stay. Looking forward to returning. By far, the best Bed and Breakfast in the Northeast region.

Best Get-Away Ever/DotnRit

This is absolutely the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The rooms newly redecorated are elegant with modern bathrooms. The food is excellent from the mid afternoon cheese and crackers right through the superb morning breakfast. The Innkeepers are charming and willing to please.

Great Romantic Getaway

This recently and painstakingly renovated Victorian is the best B&B we have ever stayed in! Our hosts were helpful and friendly. The decor is aesthetically tasteful, with well-chosen textiles, colors, fixtures, and furnishings. The whirlpool is amazing! And all is incredibly immaculate. Breakfasts are delectable, consisting of fruit and yogurt with either a savory or sweet main. The hosts provide tags to the beach as well as umbrellas and chairs. This is a comforting, unpretentious, and upscale experience we will never forget!

Lovely rooms, gracious hosts

The quality of the furnishings and amenities at The Tower Cottage is extremely high. The rooms, while not large, are beautifully appointed and Maureen and Tony are outstanding hosts who have an eye for the smallest details (you won't believe the bathrobes!) -- I guarantee you will feel spoiled and rested. The bathrooms are palatial. Sleeping in the tower room itself is like sleeping in a 5-star tree house. I warn you, though, bring your appetite, for the breakfast is delicious and more than generous and delectable treats magically appear throughout the day!

The Best

For a special day, I wanted to book a special place. I prefer B&B's to hotels. The Tower Cottage in Point Pleasant Beach proved to be everything I had hope for, and more. The service and amenities were impeccable. The hosts, Tony and Maureen, could not have been more welcoming and accommoataing. Every detail is provided and the breakfast was amazing. Not inexpensive, but worth every pemnny

Unforgettable!

Outstanding B&B at the Jersey Shore. If truly want to experience a wonderful, relaxing vacation, Treat yourself and stay with Maureen and Tony. The Inn is beutifully decorated. You will be comfortable in any of their 5 rooms, but staying in the Tower Suite is unbelievable! You will never be hungry as the day starts with a fantastic breakfast and continues with baked goods, fruit and cheese and assorted afternoon beverages. Wander into the dining room upon your return in the evening to find a suprise snack before bed. We just returned from our 3rd stay and are planning our next.

Our Amazing Jersey Shore Secret

Another beyond amazing stay at the Tower Cottage and what is becoming our private Tower Suite. We met several fun couples on this trip and they also were returning guests. It appears our well kept secret of luxury and gourmet food has been found out. As always, the food is exquisite and continues into the evening with Maureen's secret home made iced tea, brownies, cookies, and cheese cakes. Forget about the three course breakfast that is near impossible to finish. Amazing, delicious and five star! Maureen and Tony are the most attending of hosts and have not missed a single detail. If your a clean freak, make this your only B&B as each room looks new and never used. The clean smell and polished look of every surface leaves the most diehard germ finder empty handed and fully relaxed. This beautiful B&B is too good to be true but it is ALL true! We will be returning in August.

Such a Let Down

This was my Husband and I's first B&B experience (and it was our honeymoon). We stayed for only 1 night on our shore journey. I have to say, it left a bad taste in our mouths. Yes, the place is beautiful and well kept (besides the hair in our shower), but the innkeepers were not as nice as all the reviews. We felt almost looked down upon. We're not upper class, we're regular middle class hard working people who felt like we weren't good enough to step inside their home. We were almost sneered at for not taking their recommendation for where to go for dinner and was asked twice "what's going on with your car?" This is not how we imagined a B&B to be. If you can afford to stay there, you should be treated like everyone else. This was a terrible memory to have of our honeymoon, the local Hilton treated us with more respect! We are so sad that it turned out like this.
