About Our Rooms

Sarahs Room

Sarah's Room is ideal for morning people. The morning sun streams through the windows as you slowly waken in the antique oak bed with an ornate hand-carved headboard. Coordinated floral tiles and wallpaper adorn this special retreat. Simplicity of design and décor make the room extra special. The corner fireplace is especially charming. The floral tiles were imported from England, and the oak mantel is one-of-a-kind. Our gas fireplace operates with the flip of a switch, so you don't have to worry about soot, ashes, or smoke. The corner whirlpool tub is the perfect antidote for the stress in your life. Almost six feet long with a corner seat, you and that special someone can share an intimate bath. The tub operates at two different speeds, and you can choose water or air jets - choose the combination you find most soothing.

Hatties Room

Hattie's Room is pure romance. You will delight in the country Victorian décor in soft green, mauve, and cream. It's the details that make this room special: the sloped ceiling, the bead board wainscoting, the plush floral carpet, the original wood floor in the bathroom, and the collection of antique hats. The antique oak bed with carved headboard and footboard sets the mood for an evening to remember. The oak fireplace mantel is one-of-a-kind and was built by a local craftsman. The hearth and fireplace surround feature tiles in original Victorian patterns that were imported from England. There is no need to worry about smoke, soot, or ashes with this gas fireplace. The corner whirlpool tub is the ideal place to begin your romantic weekend. Almost six feet long with a corner seat, this is the perfect way to spend time with that special person in your life. Dim the lights, light the fireplace, and share a bottle of wine to create a lasting memory. As with all our whirlool tubs, you have the choice of two speeds and water or air jets.

Nathaniels Room

Nathaniel's Room is our largest and most elegant room. Decorated in green and burgundy jewel tones, this room will truly enchant you. All the furniture in the room is black walnut in the Eastlake style. You will feel like royalty as you step up into the massive antique bed. Get lost in a favorite book as you lounge in the intricately carved loveseat upholstered in burgundy velvet. If you didn't bring a book, you are free to borrow one from our library. The fireplace mantel was hand crafted in black walnut by a local artisan. The hearth and surround are green marble imported from Italy. The gas fireplace is simple to operate - just flip the switch. You don't need to be concerned about logs, smoke or soot. The whirlpool tub in Nathaniel's Room is the perfect antidote for the stress of daily life. Nearly six feet long, this tub is big enough for you to enjoy with that special someone. Two speeds and the option of water or air jets means you pick the most comfortable setting. Come and soak your troubles away.

Thanks for a delightful, restful and memorable stay. The time passed much too quickly as is the case with some of the sweetest things in life. This was the perfect place to celebrate 25 years of marriage. Thanks for the outstanding food. Marsha and Steve both, you are very gregarious. Lastly, Greg loved the trout fishing!

What a lovely old home you have and you share it so graciously with others. Our short time here was perfect in every way: warm hospitality, excellent food, and relaxed atmosphere.
