My husband and I have been to Spring Seasons Inn on several occasions and believe me when I tell you, it's the most wonderful experience. Beautiful, comfortable rooms with lots of character. Quiet location in Historic Newport. And best of all, the innkeepers, they are the most warm and welcoming, hospitable people you will ever meet. It's a joy to enter this inn when we visit. It's like coming home.

This Inn is absolutely gorgeous! We had the incredible 3rd floor all to ourselves and believe me, it is worth the extra money. The Inn is conveniently located and just a short walk away to the shops & restaurants. However despite all the glory, the Inn is located on a very busy street and the traffic can be heard all through the day AND night so if you are a light sleeper this Inn is not for you. The Keeper is sweet and very talkative. Breakfast is served precisely at 8:45-9:30. Coffee is not out before that time. We had to walk to Starbucks to get a morning cup of joe. We felt rushed most of the time by the Inn Keeper in order maintain her personal schedule. Parking is difficult, I called it musical cars! In spite of all it's glory we felt rushed while we were trying to relax and the traffic was just too loud, we probably will not visit again.

Management Response
I have never had the need to respond to a review before but I felt this was an unfair assessment of our Inn. My husband and I do all the work ourselves, we do not have staff or a front desk clerk. We take pride in accommodating our guests and go out of our way to assist them. There was a small window of time where i had to leave the Inn and my husband was at his full time job and no one would be home. That's why I always ask the guests what time they would like to check in. The guests mentioned musical cars in their review. Depending upon the time of day, we have a parking lot available to us. that day we did switch car spaces with them and when my husband came home with my car, he had to park in the driveway because my card had been in an accident and the back door was tied with rope and not secure. It was unfortunate if the guests heard any noise. We were having the side of our house painted and a temporary window had to be installed and we were at the leisure of the painters. I did not realize you could hear any noise from the third floor side window. We try to make every accommodation for our guests. Ninety-nine percent of the time we are successful. We're sorry they did not enjoy their stay. Sincerely, Bill & Susan Farrell The Spring Seasons Inn

A Romantic Winter Getaway Inn

The Spring Seasons Inn

We recently enjoyed a two night stay at this lovely romantic inn, conveniently located within short walking distance of downtown Newport, Rhode Island. The breakfasts were delicious, and plentiful, and served in a very pleasant and well decorated dining room, complete with piano music suited to our taste. We especially enjoyed having our own electric fireplace in our romantic bedroom, and the warm and toasty complimentary robes for guests. Our hosts were delightful, friendly, and attentive. We would like to return to this inn sometime soon.
