Innkeeper Note
When traveling through the Smoky Mountain Region of Western North Carolina, we discovered how beautiful these mountains were no matter what time of year you visited this part of the country. We had been looking long and hard for the perfect place to open a bed and breakfast.
When we came upon the River Lodge and realized we had found the house that fit our plans, we knew we were home at last. It took us almost a year to convert a 7,000 sq.foot private home into a bed and breakfast that accommodates six guest rooms . When we added the final touches, we were ready to open this beautiful lodge to many guests who travel through these breathtaking mountains to appreciate the same beauty we fell in love with on "our" first trip to the mountains fifteen years ago. Come, be our guests and see for yourself, you'll be glad you did!
