Description

Circa 1855. This handsome, three-story brick antebellum mansion is situated on a four-acre knoll of Reynolds Mountain. Rescued from near ruin by innkeepers Fred and Helen Faber, the home has been restored to its former glory as a gracious Southern manor. Each of the guest quarters reflects a different style from early American to Oriental. Guests can enjoy mountain views from their own room, by a wood-burning fireplace or on a rocking chair on the inn's wraparound porch. The mansion offers use of a swimming pool set among pine trees.

nicest

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We spent every sundown on the porch waiting for the fox's daily visit.
