Circa 1930. Designed by renowned architect William Distin and built for William Rockefeller, this Adirondack Great Camp has hosted fashionable house parties for the Vanderbilts, Whitneys and Morgans. No expense was spared to create the elegant, rustic lakefront estate with its walk-in fieldstone fireplaces, rare Adirondack antiques and massive hand-hewn beams. Each day a cord of wood is needed to fuel all the fireplaces. This lavish camp welcomes those who prefer to rough it with style.
