The Old Stone Inn Mountain Lodge

The Old Stone Inn Mountain Lodge

Circa 1946. Although The Old Stone Inn may be a post-World War II structure, its legacy of innkeeping stretches for more than 50 years. Surrounded by acres of woods and the scenic North Carolina Smokies, the lodge is an ideal location to commune with nature. Exposed-log beams, wooden floors and country furnishings add to the relaxing country atmosphere. Meals are served in the stone and log dining room in front of a crackling fire. Hearty breakfasts prepare guests for a day in the mountains, with treats such as banana nut pancakes, Tennessee sausage pie, fresh fruit and egg dishes. Candlelight dinners include award-winning cuisine and well-chosen wines served on white tablecloths amid a romantic atmosphere, complete with a gentle fire. The lodge porch is lined with rocking chairs, perfect for relaxing.
