Circa 1912. Renown for being the town's only house built with Spanish-style architecture and Mission-style decor, this historic inn is located in a gorgeous seashore setting. Tyrone Power, Errol Flynn and Robert Preston are some of the notables who have stayed here. Afternoon refreshments are served in the studio solarium. Relax on oversized comfortable furnishings by the fireplace in the Great Room. After a good night’s rest, an artistically presented and abundant breakfast may feature seasonal fruits, homemade breads and muffins, stuffed French toast, peppered ham, sausage patties or smoked bacon. The patio and veranda are resplendent with colorful flowers and indigenous fruit-bearing trees. Bikes are available for exploring the island, including the Lighthouse and nature centers. Beach towels and chairs are also provided.
