Cancellation

Making a reservation at a bed and breakfast is not the same as making a reservation at a hotel. Due to our small size at the Mason Cottage, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little opportunity to re-book that room. For this reason; We request that you contact us more than 10 (TEN) days prior to your check-in date, to let us know of your changes. At that time, your deposit will be refunded, less a $25 cancellation fee. No-Shows or any reservation cancellation received 10 (TEN) or less days prior to the check-in date, will result in the loss of your deposit. Reservations for two or more rooms have a 30-day cancellation policy. In this case, cancellations received 30 (THIRTY) or less days prior to the check-in date, will result in the loss of all room deposits.

Dad\'s Famous Granola

This is my dad\'s recipe passed down and it always get huge raves when we serve it at our Cape May B&B, the Mason Cottage. You can eat it by itself, with milk or add it on top of fruit and yogurt. Note: This makes a lot, so feel free to half the recipe

Omg! Frozen Key Lime Pie

Take your Key Lime Pie to the next level - this is amazing! If you can\'t find the Biscoff* cookies, graham crackers will work fine. * Biscoff cookies are a crisp caramelized European biscuit (I can find them in the cookie isle at Wal-Mart)

Challah French Toast

This is an inn favorite! Enjoy

Loved the Mason Cottage and this seaside town!

This was our first time to Cape May. Since we are both school teachers, we typically take a mini vacation in March or April during Spring Break. We have been hearing so much about this little town in New Jersey called Cape May, that we had to check it out for ourselves. My husband and I are frequent B&B'er's and do a lot of research on accommodations before deciding on the right place to stay. There are so many B&B's in town, that it's hard to choose. We decided on the Mason Cottage. It received great reviews and fit everything that we typically look for in a B&B (center of town so we can walk, a private bathroom and a great breakfast). Patti, the Innkeeper, is such a sweetheart! From the moment we checked in, we felt right at home. She makes a great breakfast each morning and coming home in the afternoon to tea and snacks was a special treat. We stayed in the Davis Suite. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated and not cluttered with knick-knacks (which is always a plus). Overall, we loved everything about our trip, a charming seaside town, a fantastic B&B and great restaurants - what more can anyone ask for!

Relaxation in Cape May, NJ

We stayed at the Mason Cottage in Cape May in autumn and the summer crowds were gone, which we appreciated. The inn was a lovely, old victorian home. Our room was cozy and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi! The breakfasts were quite delicious! We would love to return

The Most Amazing B&B Ever!

We just returned from the Mason Cottage celebrating our 5th year anniversary. What a great time we had! Patti was so warm and welcoming and made some great restaurant and bar recommendations! Our room was perfect, we stayed in the Grand Mason - I thought it was so cool that we had our private spa room with a massage table. Our breakfast was simply amazing (it might have been too good, my husband keeps talking about the blueberry strata and wonders if I can make it). This is one B&B that I can't wait to come back to again!

Elegant - Coming Back

We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. You have a beautiful and elegant inn, and serve great breakfasts. We will be back on our next trip to Cape May.
