Circa 1855. This old-fashioned waterfront inn is operated by third-generation Stones, grandchildren of the original creator of the resort. Historic Bass River lighthouse, part of the main building, has recently received approval for a new light. The inn features rooms in the main building and several cottages. Old-fashioned furnishings haven't yet acquired the decorator touch. There's a small swimming beach.

Lighthouse Inn is directly on the ocean with over a mile of beach to stroll. It is off the beaten path in a quiet, secluded area. The sunsets are spectacular.
