The comforting surroundings in each room and in the public areas allow our guests to feel at home. In-room fireplaces and whirlpool or oversized tubs provide that extra elegant touch you deserve.

Historic Interest

The house was a single family home built in 1895 by the Wagner family and inhabited by the Filmore family of presidential fame. Through the years it was also a fraternity house for the Lafayette College until 1986 when it became an Inn after a complete remodeling of the interior and exterior upgrades.

The Marquis himself would be proud to stay at the inn named in his honor. See you for Lafayette/Lehigh game weekend.

We had a wonderful stay in this friendly, warm and inviting inn! It made our Easton High 50 year reunion even more memorable. We will always remember the snowy October weekend.

Your Inn is beautiful and we couldn't feel anymore at home. The special touches of the aroma of cookies and cake baking in the oven. They were so tasty and so was your breakfest. Thank your for all you did to make our stay so enjoyable.

A happy, lovely inn

The Lafayette Inn could be anywhere and still be a hit. Everything, and I mean everything, was perfect. The building is an old mansion lovingly restored; the rooms are large, beautifully decorated, and comfortable (good beds, good lights, many sockets, free WiFi). The salon, in particular, was so inviting-- big comfortable furniture, a fire, a coffee bar, complimentary (and homemade) pastries, magazines and daily newspapers, gorgeous light, even a piano. In the morning we were greeted with a lovely breakfast in a sunny breakfast room. All of the staff, including the owner/manager, seem happy to be there. We were there in Feb. 2010, but those who go in the warmer months will enjoy the big, furnished, wrap-around porch and the lovely grounds. Value for money is tops. This place is just great.
