Excellent B&B!

Forty Putney Rd is a perfect place to stay for a romantic retreat, with beautiful ammenities on the grounds, and in the common rooms. A good path leads to great birdwatching on the West River. The private rooms are perfectly appointed, giving you a feeling of quiet plush privacy. Rhonda helped us find many treasures (arts and crafters) all over the area, and Kristin, made each morning joyful and each guest feel special. Breakfasts! They start with delightfully creative starters, and move into complete breakfasts that got us going and kept us satissfied into the afternoon, in time for tea.

InnSide Tip - Ten minute walk into town.
Brattleboro is loaded with quaint shops and boutiques. The area is rich with artists, potters, jewelers, and glasblowers. You must dedicate some time to enjoy a stroll down the main street and poke into these unique shops. (Leave the Malls behind!). There are aslo many great restaurants from simple delis to sophisticated fine dining.
