Circa 1771. Pirate gold found at Gully Point paid for this Georgian Federal-style house. A white picket fence and granite walkway welcome guests. Inside, an exquisitely crafted spiral staircase, random-width, pumpkin-pine floors and hand-forged hinges display the original artisan's handiwork. Furnishings include family heirlooms, four-poster canopy beds, and paintings by area artists. Muffin Du Jour is baked fresh each day by Betsy. Take a train to Boston or walk nearby and enjoy whale watching, fishing the local waters, or simply exploring the antique shops and village streets.
