Wonderful place to stay

Rooms were very bright and clean with modern touches but very cozy. Breakfasts were amazing. Close to everything. Will definately be back.

Dont' miss breakfast

I was fortunate to stay at The Tilton Inn once again. I was traveling on business and had a few free days to make my way to Jensen to see my folks. Katie was very accommodating and was able to book me on very short notice. What can I say: the bed was sleep-inviting comfortable, the breakfast was five star, and Katie, as always, was the best! My only complaint is that I missed breakfast on my last day. Next time I'm booking a later flight!

Pleasant Stay

If you want to experience the "old Florida" in a stay at house with a history, then is a very nice choice of a medium-sized inn/bnb at a reasonable price. There is a way in this is "romantic" or maybe nostalgic is a better word. If a couple wants a place to go "wild and crazy" then this might not be the place to do so (depending upon if you want to see someone who may have heard you). We did enjoy our stay there.

InnSide Tip - Something for Everyone
There is so much to do in the area that I'm sure anyone (young or older) can find something of interest whether the weather is hot or cool, or rainy or dry. We enjoyed visiting the Elliot Museum on the coldest day of the year.

local and lovely!

Such a fun and historic place to stay for Fla. This B&B is an updated old style Florida home that is so close to many restaurants in Jensen Beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a relaxed feeling and be sure to get up in time for a delicious breakfast!

Not your ordinary b&B

Most of the b&bs we have found in Florida for our beloved 3 day weekend getaways have been disappointing. We don't really like all the frou frou and chintz, the throw pillows, and antiques, the overstuffed mattresses, etc. that many owners seem to feel makes their places "charming." We have also noticed that frequently the owners want to engage us in more conversation than we really want. We are there for privacy and rest, not forced courtesy to someone intruding on your space (at least the space you've rented from them!). The Inn at Tilton Place presents a different face: modern and simple lines and really comfortable rooms (the mattresses are a revelation) plus superb food for a reasonable price. And all in walking distance of some great restaurants (not fancy prices but seriously good food)and a short drive from a gorgeous beach! The owner, Katie, is a lovely young woman who is a great cook. Her meals are small, healthy portions of delicious food. And although she is very informative about the area, she seems to be very aware that you are not there to visit her and gauges her conversation accordingly.

really nice place to stay

perfect combination of down home and luxury. room was really simple but elegant. enjoyed the free wine Katie gave us when we checked in - it was actually really (really good). she gave us solid restaurant recs. common area makes you want to hang out and lay down on the couch with a newspaper or book - a lot of fun books to read on the shelf. very solid breakfast in the morning and real coffee, as much of it as you want. My wife and I will definitely come back as this is a perfect place for a couple to get away for a night or two. ahhhh.

InnSide Tip - when you're at the Inn at Tilton Pl
when you're at the Inn, you should engage in a conversation with Katie, the owner. She's got some Kristin Wig in her and is pretty fun to talk to.

Great place for a visit

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Tilton Place for a long weekend. What a wonderful weekend we had. The Inn and our room was well appointed and spotless. Breakfast was creative and delicious. We have told friends and we will be back!

Home away from home

Wonderful, warm, cozy, and fantastic service!!! We we're there for a family reunion and were treated like family from the owner, Katie. Great breakfast, good red wine and very comfortable beds. We'll be back for a longer stay. Mark & Cindy

Leslie Caron on Jensen Beach

We stayed at the Tilton Inn for two nights and had a very pleasant weekend. The place is charming, clean, with a lovely room arrangement that made us feel very comfortable. The Hostess Katie a charming young lady (my wife and I thought she was Leslie Caron..) served us the finest breakfast we had in any establishment. We gladly recommend the place to anyone that wants to feel what old charm and hospitality is. Claudio and Claudia

Relaxing, amazing, delicious.

The Inn is incredibly clean and adorable: each room is painted a different shade of blue and includes local photos. I enjoyed showing up to a treat, as Katie provides a list of options for guests to purchase and have in their room. I had locally made chocolates placed in every room, as well as my own. I was traveling with my family and we rented 4 rooms. Each room was clean and comfortable, though to be honest, we spent most of our time outside. We spend our mornings eating the delicious 3 course breakfast, took long walks along the water, and enjoyed drinking the afternoon wine on the chairs out front. The Inn is close to a few adorable shops and restaurants, and is a short drive away from many more. The beach is also a walk/short drive away. I have already recommended the Inn to friends, and I can not wait to go back and enjoy another fantastic breakfast and relaxing weekend.

A Bit of Heaven in Jensen

Yesterday we had fresh baked scones, blueberries and strawberry compote with fresh whipped cream and finished with an baked egg cassulett and frech bread. Today Katie served us fresh baked blueberry scones and this amazing fruit mixture of cantalope, watermelon honey dew melon with lime zest, mint with a drizzle of honey! It was amaz...ing...all topped off with an eggbeater frittata (she was kind enough to go and get the egg beaters especially for us). Well done Katie! The beds were a memory foam and Katie sells them...sleeping on them were heavenly! Great appointments, wonderful hospitality, walking distance from downtown. Also visit Kona Cafe, owned by Katie's Mom, Jan. Kudos!!!
