Intimate in size, and newly constructed, the Inn at Stonington is designed to cater to those travelers seeking a tranquil and civilized atmosphere. Guests are treated to the most luxurious comforts including Frette robes, oversized limestone baths with soaking tubs and Anichini covered beds overlooking slate surround fireplaces. Most of the individual designer-decorated rooms enjoy spectacular views of Stonington Harbor and Fishers Island Sound from private balconies. There is a 400-foot deepwater dock for guests who travel by water, along with use of kayaks, mountain bikes and a state-of-the-art fitness facility for more adventurous travelers - all provided with our compliments. Public rooms include a top floor sitting room overlooking Stonington Harbor, intimate bar with adjoining breakfast room, cozy living room and a gracious deck overlooking the harbor. An early evening wine and cheese reception and a delectable continental breakfast are always included. Known for its tasteful antique shops, the Borough of Stonington is home to Connecticut's last surviving fishing fleet. There are four delighfully acclaimed restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. Other area attractions include Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, Mohegan Sun and Foxwood's casinos. Nearby Watch Hill, R.I., offers visitors some of New England's most beautiful beaches and is home to the country's oldes Flying Horse Carousel.
